Buenos Aires – News Flash!
I was inspired by my visit a couple of weeks ago to verdellama to actually get moving on my long back-burned project of opening my own restaurant here. It will take some time to do all the proper legal paperwork, find a location and such, but in the meantime, we decided to start by drumming up some interest in my cooking that isn’t limited to pictures and recipes. So, begnning in May, we will be opening up our home on Friday evenings as a small (we only have 10 seats between two tables), in-house restaurant. For the moment, you can click on the following link, or above, or to the right for Casa SaltShaker to get detailed information. The page is also duplicated in Spanish, just click on the link below the title.
We hope to start meeting some of my loyal readers and fans, and start spreading the word!
[Edit: So those plans above changed radically, when Casa SaltShaker took off like a bat out of hell. We scrapped the regular restaurant idea and just kept going.]
I can hear your guests now: “It’s just like eating in a private home!”
CONGRATULATIONS! Very exciting news! I just looked at your site. Your menu for the month of May is mouthwatering. Wish I were in Buenos Aires.
Best,
Paz
