“The tongue has no bones, but it breaks bones.”
– Greek proverb
Buenos Aires – In an out of the blue sort of surprise I was contacted this week by representatives from the International Osteoporosis Foundation to initially provide them with a picture that they’d seen on my blog. It was of a bowl of chilaquiles, a Mexican dish that I particularly like and had reviewed at a restaurant over a year ago. The Asociacion Mexicana de Metabolismo Oseo Y Mineral had provided them with a recipe for their new website launch of “bone healthy” recipes, but hadn’t provided a picture of how the dish should end up looking. I was happy to have my photo used on the site, and then they followed up with a request for one of my recipes to include on their site. So, my Baked Salmon with Egg Yolk Sauce is now a part of their international database of great recipes with high calcium and vitamin D to help prevent osteoporosis. How cool is that?

Very cool! I’m going to have to try this recipe.
