Those of you who aren’t part of my Facebook connections, or Casa SaltShaker’s facebook fan page, or my Twitter feed (yes, I do all those things, they don’t really take up that much time unless you let yourself get sucked into it), probably didn’t know that Wednesday, Henry and I celebrated our fourth anniversary. Time flies!
I don’t think there’s much more I can do to clean up this picture, taken in very low lighting with my phone. Martín, the chef at Pura Tierra, sent us out a beautiful dessert of a cake surrounded by caramelized sugar threads and candied flowers, and topped with a candle. It was very sweet and Henry was completely overwhelmed by the gesture.
Congratulations Henry and Dan! It may not sound long, but four years in a good relationship is really special. And it obviously takes a lot of effort. Here’s to another four and a lot more.
