Just a reflection on the day – five years ago today I arrived in Buenos Aires with the plan to stay for 8-10 weeks. It was grey and rainy. Henry and I met up for the first time in close to six months. I tried my first provoletta. Today is likewise grey but so far no drizzle. I’ve had many a provoletta. Dinner is prepped and ready for a full house, most of whom cancelled in the last couple of hours – leaving us with four for the night. Keeping fingers crossed that we get some last minute reservations to replace them.
